Manel Kape looks to be hitting his stride in the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight division.
The former Rizin Fighting Federation titleholder will lock horns with Alex Perez in a featured UFC on ESPN 43 attraction this Saturday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Kape enters the Octagon with the wind of a three-fight winning streak at his back. He last competed at UFC Fight Night 216, where he took a three-round unanimous decision from David Dvorak on Dec. 17. Perez, meanwhile, finds himself reeling after back-to-back defeats. The onetime Tachi Palace Fights champion last appeared on July 30, when he submitted to a neck crank from Alexandre Pantoja in the first round of their UFC 277 pairing.
