Mackens Earns ‘Clean Slate’ With Successful UFC Debut

Sherdog.com cornered Mackens Semerzier after “Mack Da Menace” spoiled the Octagon debut of Alex Caceres, finishing “Bruce Leroy” with a rear-naked choke just 3:18 into the first frame of their lightweight duel at UFC Fight Night 24.
After taking the fight to the floor in the early going, Semerzier quickly transitioned to the back of the former “Ultimate Fighter 12” cast member. For a moment, it appeared the WEC vet was riding a bit high, but Semerzier adjusted nicely as Caceres tried to escape and locked up the fight-ending rear-naked choke.
