Carlos Prates: I Know How to Knock Out 'MVP'

After getting his third UFC KO and third performance bonus in six months, Carlos Prates is making waves in the UFC welterweight division. In this Sherdog exclusive, The Fighting Nerds representative talked about spending almost six years living in Thailand, revealed how he started to smoke and commented on sparring with Khalil Rountree, who is set to challenge Alex Pereira for the UFC light heavyweight title.

Prates also analyzed the then-upcoming fight between his teammate, Caio Borralho, and Jared Cannonier and gave a second option to UFC in case the organization wants to give him a ranked opponent next instead of Kalinn Williams: Michael Page. Prates revealed that when Douglas Lima fought "MVP," he helped Lima by simulating Page in sparring. "I know how to knock him out. Would be another bonus for sure," guaranteed Prates.
