Bellator Double Champ Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire Willing to Put His Money Where His Mouth Is

After defeating Juan Archuleta and Pedro Carvalho in the Bellator MMA Featherweight Grand Prix, double champion Patricio Freire is patiently waiting for a date with Emmanuel Sanchez in the tournament semifinals.

“I've already beaten him via decision, but this time I promise a knock out in the first round,” said Pitbull in this exclusive video interview with Sherdog Brazil correspondent Marcelo Alonso.

Freire predicted how a potential matchup against A.J. McKee would go in the tournament finals and promised to bet the GP’s $1 million prize against Dana White and his featherweight champion. The Bellator double champ also explained how karate training at Pitbull Brothers Gym will help Paulo Costa to beat Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya. Finally he said that Michael Chandler will be the next UFC lightweight ruler.
