The former UFC champion had some interesting opinions revolving around the controversial ending in the Petr Yan-Aljamain Sterling fight:
“It’s about money and professionalism. His opponent committed a mistake and he capitalized on that. Both will make more money in the rematch,” said Cyborg, who will likely never get the opportunity to rematch Amanda Nunes since signing with Bellator.
“I have no doubt Scott Coker would love to promote that fight, but when I made my choice, not only concerning a better paycheck but also being more respected and living happier, I knew that rematch would be [left] behind.”
