Coach Alex Prates Talks Robert Whittaker's Wrestling, Predicts He Will KO Chimaev in Round 3

In this Sherdog exclusive, the head coach of former UFC middleweight champ Robert Whittaker analyzed his pupil's upcoming challenge against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC on ABC 6 on June 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“Robert is doing 10 rounds of wrestling for this fight. [Gilbert] Burns gave us the blueprint to beat Chimaev,” said Prates.

While he doesn't like to bet, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt revealed that he doesn’t believe the fight lasts all five rounds and predicted the round in which it will end. With the experience of having trained Whitaker to fight both Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis, Prates also did his stylistic analysis of the possible next middleweight title fight.
