Top Reasons to Catch 2025 PFL Europe 3

Boris Atangana is a scary-good prospect at 185 pounds.

The Professional Fighters League should soon have a better understanding of where Boris Mbarga Atangana operates in terms of ceiling and floor.

A Belgian kickboxer of Cameroonian descent, the undefeated 26-year-old will put his perfect 6-0 record on the line when he meets Jhony Gregory in the 2025 PFL Europe 3 middleweight co-main event on Friday at Zenith Nantes Metropole in Nantes, France. Atangana has finished all six of his opponents, five of them inside one round. He last saw action at 2025 PFL Europe 2, where he made mincemeat out of Bruno Santos in a 56-second technical knockout on July 5. Atangana trains out of Team Sendo in Brussels. Gregory, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. The Daniel Oliveira protégé last suited up on Aug. 16, when he put away Alvaro Luiz with a second-round guillotine choke under the Jungle Fight banner in his native Brazil. Gregory, 31, has gone the distance only once in 10 professional appearances.

In addition to the Atangana-Gregory showdown at 185 pounds, here are two other reasons to catch 2025 PFL Europe 3:

Pointed North

Baris Adiguzel seems to be peaking at the right time. The Boxing Squad rep steps in as a short-notice replacement for Mahio Campanella and enters his PFL Europe bantamweight semifinal against Gustavo Oliveira on the heels of five straight victories. Adiguzel, 26, last competed on May 24, when he retained his Hexagone MMA bantamweight championship with a 64-second knockout of Francisco Cleiton Monteiro. He stopped Monteiro with a knee strike to the body. A native of Turkey who moved to France during his pre-teen years, Adiguzel has seven first-round finishes to his credit. On the other side of the ledger, Oliveira has rattled off three consecutive wins. The 26-year-old Brazilian last fought at 2025 PFL Europe 2, where he wiped out Anas Azizoun with a spinning back elbow a little more than three minutes into their quarterfinal pairing. Oliveira struck gold in the Batalha MMA organization prior to his arrival in the PFL. Dean Garnett faces undefeated Polish prospect Jan Cieplowski in the other PFL Europe bantamweight semifinal.

Brother in Arms

Gino van Steenis wants to make a name for himself. The younger brother of current Professional Fighters League middleweight champion Costello van Steenis, he steps into his PFL Europe lightweight semifinal opposite Connor Hughes with momentum of his own. Van Steenis, 30, sports a 6-1 record and made a successful promotional debut at 2025 PFL Europe 1, where he took a unanimous decision from Declan McAleenan in their three-round quarterfinal four-plus months ago. He operates out of the MMA Vlaardingen in Holland. Hughes, meanwhile, was a PFL Europe finalist in 2024. The 28-year-old Jason Tan protégé last strapped on the gloves on May 10, when he punched out Sebastien Di Franco in the second round of their tournament quarterfinal. Hughes has secured nine of his 11 pro victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission. Claudio Pacella and Aleksandrs Chizovs lock horns in the other PFL Europe lightweight semifinal.
